Celebrating Kerala’s Heritage, Building Community in Victoria

About us

Welcome to Malayalee Association of Victoria

The Malayalee Association of Victoria (MAV) is one of the oldest and most inclusive Indian regional associations in Australia, established in 1976. As a not-for-profit organization, MAV’s mission is to help its members, both individually and collectively, preserve, promote, and instill the culture and traditions of Kerala, including the Malayalam language.

The association values the unique heritage of its members’ ancestral links and cultural ties to Kerala, India. Embracing the image of the “Door of Opportunity,” MAV symbolizes its purpose and mission to the wider community.
