MAV: Preserving Heritage, Embracing Opportunities Since 1976

The Malayalee Association of Victoria (MAV), founded in 1976, is one of the oldest and most inclusive Indian regional associations in Australia. As a not-for-profit organization, MAV aims to help its members, both individually and collectively, preserve, promote, and instill the culture and traditions of Kerala, along with the Malayalam language. The Association cherishes the unique heritage of its members’ ancestral links and cultural ties to Kerala, India. The organization has adopted the image of the “Door of Opportunity” to symbolize its purpose and mission to the wider community.
